Eton - Brooklyn

Holy Juicy Dumplings, Batman!
I should no longer be surprised. I mean, come on - the best cheeseburger I've ever had was in Tokyo. Still, I was shocked at how juicy and delicious the dumplings were at Eton, a hole in the wall spot smack in the middle of leafy, brownstone Brooklyn. You can get good dumplings off Smith Street in Brooklyn? Yes, you actually can.

Calexico - Brooklyn

Lunch Ambivalence
It dawned on me as I waited for my lunch at Calexico how close I was to Matamoros - just a few stops on the subway. It's a thought that lingered and annoyed - I knew my laziness was a mistake. Pingle's pulled pork taco was ok, not too bad, but in general this was another wasted meal.

Kyochon - Manhattan

The Other KFC = Korean Fried Cardboard
First, I'd like to take a moment to recognize the Icey-land volcano for helping me stay home in Brooklyn for an extra week. Keep erupting, I say!! Now onto the food blog post. Kyochon - I waited so long for you and your Korean fried chicken. It was all in vain. How do I put this delicately? Hmmmm..... My momma taught me that if you got nothing good to say don't say anything. Sorry mom - THIS PLACE SUCKS.
